Salariem

Salariem
Salariem is the current Architect of the Seeing Eye, and therefore a member of the Grand High Council of Architects of Ramsalon Though this Seat is known for its talents in Divination, Salariem is perhaps most renowned for being the only known practitioner of the very unique "Orb Magic," which allows him to create and modify a magical orb that can do a number of things based on its modifications. This orb is almost always seen with him, almost like a pet. He is a practitioner of a fair number of other unusual magics, including Displacement Magic (somewhat similar to Teleportation), Deepscan Telepathy, and Exopsychosis. Salariem is well known for being the "public" face of the Grand High Council, as well as for his unreserved fear of waterfowl.

Background
Born in the rugged southlands a few decades ago, Salariem was found almost immediately by the local guild of mages. His powers, even at birth, were comparable to some of the most powerful mages of the time. With his vast intelligence and his desire to learn there was no better candidate for a high ranking member of the guild. After his initial introduction into the guild, he left, wishing to seek life on his own path, then one day he decided that the Mage Guild was not entirely bad, and using the knowledge and skills he had gained he approached them and joined their ranks.

Personality
A kind fellow to friends and neutrals, an unforgiving force to his enemies.
Fear of waterfowl: If it's a bird, and it regularly lives in the water, or on the water, he's terrified of it. A platypus is probably his worst nightmare come to life, poor guy.
Description
Salariem stands around five foot five, not burly, not at all, he in fact looks rather weak in comparison to the average citizen of Ramsalon. He has normal features and can always be seen wearing a robe that indicates his membership to the Mages Guild. A small white orb is also usually seen alongside him, or floating nearby, or resting in his large sleeves.

As he gained in rank and power, he was given the Item Retrieval Project which he still heads up. It was the work of this project, and the relationship forged with the associated retrieval team, The Ebon Fist, that brought him to the attention of the Architects.
