Schutzren

Schutzren
Schutzren is a Candenordian deity, known as the Goddess of Honorable Battle.

When she appears to mortals, it is always in the guise of a strong and powerful woman with an enticing aura of command and grace around her. She is clad in shimmering armor and armed with a beautiful blue steel longsword and a shield that bares the image of a dragon and rose.

The Goddess of Honorable Battle favors those who dedicate their lives to the art of war. She is not a blood thirsty deity, however. Instead, she champions those who use their great skill for the betterment of society or those who champion a cause. In many ways, Schutzren is similar to the forgotten god, Ohm in that she is neither seen as good nor evil. Instead, she preserves balance.

Those that follow Schutzren are true warriors. They dedicate their lives to the art of war, and her followers hone their skill to perfection. These warriors also fight with extreme conviction, though not necessarily for good. Still, a single follower of Schutzren would stand and face a horde of bandits and strike down as many as he or she could, regardless of being outnumbered if it was their mission to do so.

Armed with their extreme convictions, warriors of Schutzren are said to be granted a gift of Immortality While this is not true, it has been seen that her warriors seem to possess a supernatural endurance and are able to fight beyond physical limitations – even to the point where death should claim them. Instead, these warriors will stand their ground and fight until the last of their enemies have fallen, only then does the spirit of Schutzren leave them and they fall.

In spite of the great strength that Schutzren gives, her followers train to avoid death at all costs. They may choose to use their great skill to take on great odds, but they will retreat from battle to bring a fight on another day if they can do so.

Much like Megolua Schutzren is deeply angered by those who wield a blade entirely of anger. A follower who strikes out in anger will be struck down or haunted or even directly cursed by the hand of Schutzren to the point where many have slain themselves in insanity brought on by the punishing visions she brings them.

Ohm

Ohm

"I am Balance. Some see me as a God, and once I was considered by the mortals of Vaxia to be the God of Balance. Where there was good and evil, I was the scale that measured them."

Ancient history tells us that once; one god was worshiped by the whole world. This god was Ohm These texts speak of Ohm as more than any mere god, but as the personification of the universal balance between order, chaos, good and evil. Somewhere amidst the annals of known history, however, Ohm has become one of the forgotten gods.

Scattered across historical archives are rumors of this god, however. Some record that the god Ohm has visited them in dreams in the guise of a tall, non-distinct human figure with no distinct facial features. He wears a long black cloak that reaches his ankles and depicts the night sky on its back. Always, his form is seen hovering a few inches off the ground, floating with lordly grace.

Ohm is not widely worshiped today among humans. He is seen in Elven mythology, however, as the god Elrund. These followers follow a doctoring of preserving the balance. They believe that Good and Evil must always be linked together, or things like love, hate, fear, happiness, can not exist - only Chaos. Good will turn in on itself should it defeat Evil and become Chaos. Evil will turn on itself should it defeat good, and become Chaos. Both must exist and both must be a possibility.

Finally, it is said that the true servitors of Ohm dedicate their lives, and sometimes more, to preserving the fine universal scale of Balance.

Flick

Flick
Flick is the youngest son of Deamorian and perhaps the most hated as he reigns as the god of pain and suffering. Where his brothers and sisters are occasionally amused by causing mortals to suffer, Flick revels in their torment and draws his power from misery. Thus, he is often present when other gods of the house of Deamorian work their nightmares on earth bathing in the pain they bring.

Sometimes Flick picks out a random being to torture until something else calls for his intention. He is also often asked to punish particular mortals by other members of his family. If this is the case, the doomed soul can expect his or her torment to be long, drawn out, and full of unceasing physical suffering. Flick rarely kills these victims, choosing to release them once they are sufficiently broken. This way, he can continue to feed upon their misery.

Flick is irredeemably evil and is worshiped by sadists who are like him.

Teasurio

Teasurio
Teasurio is a son of Deamorian and is the god of lies. He is often seen depicted as a pale man wearing a dark wooden mask. Where Goowino is concerned with the truth of perception, and Allainogy records the history of events, Teasurio recognizes that 'truth' is in the eye of the beholder and therefor can be manipulated. He uses his own wicked logic and outright lies to warp and twist the perceptions of his two cousins and foil their efforts. It is said as well that Teasurio knows the fickle hearts of mortal men better than his cousins. He understands that many mortals do not wish to hear the truth but prefer his well crafted lies and delusions.

While Teasurio patrons many thieves, rogues, and lawyers, anyone who has ever tried to mislead another can be considered to have served Teasurio. Many of his devote followers claim that their god grants them uncanny powers deception - it is hard to believe these claims.

Boschewa

Boschewa
Boschewa is the daughter of Deamorian and is the intoxicating, beautiful, and envious goddess of lust and desire. Boschewa fills mortal hearts with passion - but not the passion that provides strength or conviction. Instead, she sows the seeds of fiery passion that is all consuming, maddening, and recklessly destructive. For Boschewa true love is an illusion created to mask our true pursuit of carnal pleasure. For her own amusement, Boschewa often plays with the hearts of men driving them to debauchery. Her toys are known throughout legend as tales of men and women who ultimately destroy everything they hold dear.

Most of Boschewa's followers are the victims of her seduction. Often, she comes to her victims in the form of an exquisitely beautiful woman, fills them with desire, and then binds their souls to do her bidding. In their entranced rapture, Boschewa's pawns can do little but obey her every whim to satisfy the need they have to be in her favor. In a lesser way, anyone dedicated to a life of hedonism and selfishness is thought to have served Boschewa.

Boschewa is said to have had a short but fruitful flirtation with Adler which resulted in four children for whom she doesn't care at all. These children are known as the Elemental gods, Fuego Aquantura Luchiticus and Terranio

Fuatang

Fuatang
Fuatang is a son of Deamorian and is the god of betrayal and treachery. He is often depicted as a dark, shadowed man holding a bloodstained dagger. Unlike many of the more overt members of his family, Fuatang does not use violence to directly achieve his ends. Instead, he sows seeds of mistrust, disbelief and disloyalty among his enemies turning them against one another, until like a canker, the forces that oppose him rot from the inside out. Like his brother Kuatang Fuatang's wrath is easily earned. Fuatang is a capricious god, however, and his goals often seem to change randomly. Of course, this might simply all be part of a larger design...

Fuatang is a patron of assassins, traitors, and spies. It is said though that any man who has ever betrayed another has at one time served Fuatang. His true worshipers are a dangerous lot. As they perform tasks for the god of betrayal, they must maintain constant vigil to ensure that they are not themselves being mislead into some sort of trap or into service that would anger their god. That his own followers would betray one another amuses Fuatang.

Kuatang

Kuatang
Kuatang is a son of Deamorian and is known as the god of battle and blood lust. In combat, Kuatang is perhaps the most powerful of all the gods as he is unmatched in sheer strength and ruthless drive. What also makes Kuatang very dangerous are his motivations; he is easy to anger and has an insatiable lust for blood and destruction. Only Megolua with his great skill and wits can stand against Kuatang's brute force and blind drive. The god of battle's philosophy is simple - destroy anything that stands to oppose him, and the more pain that can be caused in the process, the better. When Kuatang is directed by his father's hand, war is often the result.

It is said that all men worship Kuatang when they act out of blind hatred. However, some warriors dedicate their lives to his ways. Depending on the culture, the warriors touched by Kuatang are either thought to be blessed or cursed. They tend to develop almost unnatural strengths in combat but also lose control over themselves and becoming some kind of berserker. The powers that Kuatang grants his followers are always related to violence and are thought to result in that. That's also what he expects from his followers; that they should follow Kuatang's aims in this way.

In this way, victims of her wrath are said to be the poorest souls alive. As long as things are going his way, everything is fine, but should someone not act like Deamorian wants him to, he'll be very quick and cruel in his punishment. He is the bringer of mischief and pain. Peace and harmony are just disgusting for Deamorian and he'll let his tricks play to destroy them. It is the sheer power that he can do this, that lets him do this. He wants to make clear without a doubt who is the undisputed ruler. In many myths that talk about the creation of the world, he is said to have brought the creatures to live that are a thorn in the side of the creatures created by both Powainogy and Mahawainogy alike. From his followers he expects first of all that they do what he orders them, and that they, should there not be direct orders, shall cause mischief on their own. Therefore he often grants his followers all kinds of mischievous or dark and evil powers, most of destructive nature.

The Family Of Deamorian
The followers of the family of Deamorian lust for power and personal gain. It's not the society as a whole that should benefit, but only the strongest and most ruthless one.
