Emily Jou

Background
Growing up in relative poverty in the Meonji mountains, Emily was the victim of a violent attack at a very young age. Left scarred, she later went into law enforcement for the San-Saram and gained notoriety for convicting the leader of her village for taking kickbacks from Bolvintian merchants in exchange for exclusive mining rights that kept her people in poverty.

During the Inferno, she took charge of evacuation efforts and negotiated firm and fair terms with the Bolvintian rescuers - some at gunpoint. The evacuation made her something of a household name, and despite lacking significant authority within the San-Saram, when the offer came for an appointee to the Treatise Body Administration Emily insisted on being selected - and thanks to public outcry, become the sole recommended candidate by the new San-Saram joint leadership.

Personality
Emily knows her worth and refuses to let anyone treat her like less. Her confidence makes her a hero to some and a thorn to others. She is more pragmatic than idealistic and prefers honest and brief interactions, especially when there's a problem that needs solving. She makes decisions based on evidence whenever possible, often demanding further understanding of a situation rather than risk jumping to the wrong conclusion.

Occupation
San-Saram delegate to the Treatise Body Administration

Description
Jou stands 5-foot-5 and still bears the facial scars of the attack she suffered in her youth. She moves and speaks with confidence and seems to some as aggressive despite simply foregoing the unnecessary pleasantries of most conversations and refusing to let her age, nationality or gender be used as a reason for her to be less respected than anyone else at the table.

Micah Ankhbayar

Background
A seasoned soldier of Gardarin, Ankhbayar is the father of four children and grandfather of six. He served as an able military commander for years before being forced into politics as a necessary anchor for the alliance of so-called lesser republics.

He is often compared to a bear or bulldog by agents of the 'big three' republics, but is seen by those in the other twelve as a heroic figure, a stalwart champion who will shift the balance and finally earn the lesser republics a place in the sun.

Despite his personal history and impressive record, he has been putting up with lack of respect and constant microaggressions from the delegates of the big three for over a decade, and has reached an interesting equilibrium with it. Although whether or not that tense peace will last, only Micah knows.

Personality
Ankhbayar is a gruff man with little patience for flowery speech, arrogance or idealism. He is pragmatic to a fault and quietly proud, weathered by years of being the proverbial little fish in the big pond. The only time he doesn't seem surly is around young children, where he warms up remarkably.

Occupation
Delegate for the twelve lesser Northern Republics for the Treatise Body

Description Micah Ankhbayar stands 6-foot even and wears the marks of his age and military service. Several scars and other imperfections dot his face and head, he walks with a slight limp, but always stands straight and speaks with clear purpose and dignity. His Gardarinian military service pin is always brightly polished and sits prominently on whatever outfit he's wearing.

Aiden Redlark

Background
The child of a lawyer and a politician, Redlark was also a math prodigy. He began working on cryptography as a hobby as a teenager and made a profession of it after college, contracting with Galanor military intelligence. Before he reached 30, he was already teaching old hands in Galanor intelligence better methods of encryption and decryption. He's somewhat legendary within Belham military intelligence as one of the few rivals who can give them a run for their money.

He also became something of an expert in psychology and political science, which made him an ideal candidate for the Treatise Body Administration Despite being able to the task, Redlark's interests are and have always been his own first and foremost.

Personality
Redlark enjoys being the gadfly in the room, dismantling the assertions of others and trying to put them off balance with biting humor and sarcastic observations. He enjoys being the last to speak, and is more than happy to let louder personalities take credit for some of his work, since they serve as good shields against those who might realize just how powerful Redlark is becoming.

Occupation
Galanor delegate to the Treatise Body Administration

Description
Redlark stands 6-foot-3 with broad shoulders and narrow hips. All his features seem to mirror that sharp-angled aesthetic from the cheekbones on down, and he dresses to accent it further, giving him at times an almost cartoonish appearance. He carries himself with quiet confidence, neither loud nor meek, but relying on his words to establish his credibility.

Bradley Ames

Background
Heir to a long lineage of military greats in Galanor, Ames was fast-tracked up the officer ranks to colonel, more due to his connections and influential family than any personal gift or achievement. Despite this, he led several successful campaigns in the cold war with Bolvintia successfully cutting off several attempts by their fellow republic to shift the balance and consolidate power in the north.

His desire to move into politics was well known long before he actually made the jump after the orbital mines left Galanor devastated. When the Treatise Body Administration was formed, Ames was not the first candidate for either Galanoran seat - until one of those above him met with an unfortunate accident en route to the space station, making way for Ames' rise to his new influential post.

Personality
Smug and a bit childish, Ames' persona bears all the marks of the entitlement of his youth and the soft path from there to where he is now. While he himself is rarely taken seriously by others, the influence he wields (and his willingness to use it even over petty grudges) makes him a key player nonetheless.

Occupation
Galanor delegate to the Treatise Body Administration

Description
Ames stands 5-foot-9 and is fashionably thin, which is to say thinner than most would consider healthy. He dresses in chic business attire with a mild counterculture flair and moves with a swagger that suggests his constant confidence and general ambivalence to those around him.

Justine Beaudelaire

Background
A Dalhan immigrant, Beaudelaire enlisted in the Bolvintian military as a combat medic in hopes the pay and training would help her care for her ailing father. Her experience in the military led to a growing dissatisfaction with Bolvintia's militaristic culture and propagandizing.

Starting from the bottom, she slowly worked her way through Bolvintian politics until she finally won the honor of Secretary of State, giving her the influence needed to try and stabilize relations both with the southern subcontinent and with the other Republics.

During the Inferno, she lost her entire family in the initial violence. Her service to the Rohearn is the only reason she wasn't home at the time, and the only reason she survived. Ironically, the reason she went to the north in the first place is the only thing that kept her from dying with them.

Her history as an effective diplomat and peacekeeper made her a natural choice for the Treatise Body Administration
Personality
Justine is a proud individual, but she doesn't let it get in the way of making and strengthening connections. If anything, her pride helps her relate to the emissaries from other nations. She is a capable communicator, if a touch idealistic, and she often gives advice whether it's asked for or not.

Occupation
Bolvintian Republic delegate to the Treatise Body Administration

Description
Justine stands at 5-foot-7 with another six inches of her wild and curly hair. She is rarely seen out of professional attire, even when not at an official function. Her tone matches her attire, signalling that she is always 'on' and can't afford casual interactions to jeopardize her delicate position.

Anyanka Decker

Background
Decker seemed destined for greatness from an early age. She excelled in school, volunteered for the military at a young age, vaulted through the officers program and then switched into military intelligence at the recommendation of her C.O.

In Bolvintian Intelligence, she first acted as an operative, infiltrating the Galanor government close to the highest levels and even managing to pierce the shroud of the Belham militaries secret projects division. After becoming Director of Intelligence, she became the unofficial power behind the throne in Bolvintia so it was only natural she would be on the short list for selection to the Treatise Body Administration

She is the aunt of Brandon Decker and saw to his stay of execution when he was brought up on charges of treason - all of it very hush-hush and handled behind the closed doors of Bolvintian special operations.

Personality
Anyanka served as a capable spy for years, giving her the skills to carefully sculpt how she presents herself. Despite this, when dealing with other members of the Treatise Body, she is frequently openly intimidating and even arrogant, sounding as though she's willing to risk humanity's extinction before she will bend to someone's will not her own.

Occupation
Bolvintian Republic delegate to the Treatise Body Administration

Description
Decker stands 5-foot-5 physically and twice that in the impression she leaves. She's something of an enigma due to her uncanny ability to completely adopt a different persona to fit the situation at hand, but in all of them, it's difficult to miss that she's a very capable individual and typically has something else she wants than what she's asking for up front.

Omid Durrani

Background
Omid is from the Horizon clan, home to a long legacy of the fiercest, wiliest traders in desert history. Omid has done more than most of his generation to redouble that reputation, responsible for one of the most impressive trade empires on the subcontinent. Shrewd and cavalier, Omid is not well-liked by any clan, even his own, although many aspire to join his enterprise, mirror it, or depose him from it.

Despite wide speculation that he was, in fact, a soulless bastard, when the Inferno happened, Omid leveraged his expansive assets to personally fund dozens of independent orbital space programs. He also worked on establishing a global communications network after the first cities started following and infrastructure failed. By the time he personally arrived on Station Prime Omid was responsible for having saved several hundred thousand lives through his various efforts. His nearly limitless finances had been reduced to one man's comfortable savings.

When the Treatise Body Administration was formed and delegates were being selected, Edmun Zahir risked great controversy personally requesting that Omid join as a delegate, given how quietly the businessman had contributed to the rescue efforts. Omid gladly accepted.

Personality
Shrewd and cavalier, Omid is a businessman through and through. He's frequently jovial and always cocky, often joking or needling others goodnaturedly (or so he claims). He does his best to appear uninvested in anything but personal gains, but he has a deep love for humanity as a whole and would do whatever it takes to keep them from being snuffed out. Simply put, he loves humanity - it's people he doesn't respect.

Occupation
Desert Clans delegate for the Treatise Body Administration

Description Omid Durrani stands 5-foot-7 with a deceptively hefty build often masked by stylish clothing custom-tailored to mask it. His appearance is carefully maintained even when it appears otherwise, and he is rarely ever not smiling.

Ayesha Wayward

Background
Hailing from the Red Coast clan, Ayesha was a famous athlete for years, competing in early inter-clan tournaments after the unification. Ending a prominent career early, she went into sports reporting, and from that into broader news reporting, and lastly into the service with the Southern Coalition
A celebrity and war hero, Ayesha was a natural pick when the Treatise Body Administration was formed and Desert Clan representation was needed. Even rival clans respected her as an athlete and her bravery and diligence even as a reporter won her acclaim across the region. Oddly, her military career is the least storied and well-known.

While it's often wrongly assumed that her cybernetic arm is due to an early sporting injury, it instead serves to replace an arm she never had due to a birth defect. While others have often used the limb as the source for special inspiration, Wayward herself downplays its importance and has asked openly not to be used as 'your inspiration porn.'

Personality
Wayward epitomizes speed not only on the field but in her everyday interactions - she talks fast, walks fasts, tries to end meetings as quickly as possible, and seems to subsist almost entirely on a steady diet of energy drinks. Part of this hummingbird-like persona is that she is a flatly honest individual, which can be good or bad depending on her opinion of you. It makes her interested as a diplomat, to say the least.

Occupation
Desert Clans delegate in the Treatise Body Administration

Description
Wayward stands 6-foot-2 with a muscular build often showcased by tightly-fitting attire. Her style is an interesting mix of chic and sports casual, with clothes intended for mobility but still clearly designed with their aesthetic appeal in mind. Her left arm is visibly cybernetic and she dislikes attention being brought to it unnecessarily.
