 | The Definition of High Maintenance Adinah 'Princess' Moonsilk heard the elf continue to edge closer and closer to where she was through her quiet sobs, but it was not until she felt Teryn’s arms go around her that she completely lost it all grip on her composure. He justified what she did, straight up said she was completely in the right, and she did not want to hear that. She wanted to hear she was wrong, something that was right could not leave as bad of a taste in her mouth as all of this did. Teryn insisted everyone was a little dark at times, and this was even more on the list of things she did not really want to hear. 'Other people can control their tempers… I get upset, people suffer, people die… To think I actually wanted to learn how to control someone’s mind, where would that get me? When would that ever be justified to use? Andrew was right to object to it all… I have no right learning such things.'
She calmed down, believe it or not, somewhere in there, her sobs slowing, and eventually stopping. Hearing Teryn call her his, something he had not done in a long, long while. It served well enough to bring back all sorts of warm and fuzzy memories. No matter what terrible things she did, and it wasn’t like she could hide any of those things from Teryn even if she desired to, he had always been there. Besties for life.
'I am so tired of living with all of this weight on my soul, Teryn. Eva would grow up just fine with Kire and my mother raising her. She would be provided for, loved, and without some sick and twisted werebeast as a mother. Amber would move on, no doubt. Everyone does eventually.'
